     Lightnings of God Ministries

Evangelist Ken Harbaum and his wife Angel are dedicated servants of the Lord. The Lord has blessed Brother Ken with a great ability and anointing to preach and teach the Word of God A man of faith and a man of prayer. Angel, too, is an excellent teacher, with a real sweet spirit, truly a helpmeet and very supportive of her husband's calling. This ministry is international, as Ken has ministered numerous times in Africa and Indonesia and Angel has also worked in the foreign field.

MUSIC  &  SINGING  MINISTRIES

Charles Feltner

Charles was promoted to glory on September 2, 2005. He was a singer and songwriter who certainly needed no introduction. Charles was widely known for the great gospel music he wrote, the most popular of all time being "I Will See You In the Rapture." Another great one was "Only What's Done for Christ Will Last." He was one of the nicest, most sincere and friendly people I have ever been privileged to meet. His testimony was thrilling, his anointing was evident and his delivery was touching. He had several bouts with cancer, and the doctors gave up on him several times, but God had other plans. We were all amazed at what a big voice came from such a small, seemingly frail, body. We had the honor of singing at his 44th anniversary in gospel music.

IN LOVING MEMORY

Firstborn

This family ministry is one of the best and freshest talents I know. Alan Laws, his wife Donna, daughter Erika, and son Travis make up the group known as Firstborn. Their musical abilities, and Alan's anointed preaching are sure to be a blessing to your church. They have a real warm, heartfelt ministry for the Lord.

Graceway Quartet

Bill Hafner on lead, Fred Whitehair is tenor, Ben Atwood at baritone and Joe Kobalka doing the bass. This is one of the best southern gospel quartets around. They have won awards at the National Quartet Convention to prove it. Their harmony, enthusiasm and love for the Lord are readily apparent in their ministry. In my opinion, Joe is one of the very best bass singers alive today. His smooth, natural depth, rich tones and easy delivery make him very easy to listen to. These fellows are sure to be a blessing to any church. Calvary highly recommends this quartet. Call 'em up. You won't regret it.

     North Family Ministries

Judy, Sharon and Karen, 3 sisters, make up this dynamic group. They are exciting and very encouraging. They will sing you happy and bless you clear down to your socks. We really love the ministry of these 3 girls. They have a unique ministry and can draw people to the altars, then minister to their needs. This group was very popular over a wide area some years ago, singing with their mother and brother. The group broke up for about 15 years, but then five years ago the sisters got back together, and they are really back. You will surely enjoy this wonderful, anointed ministry.

     The Southern-Aires

Dall Miller (on the left), Chip Bowling (in the middle) and Marilyn Bowling (on the right) are the Southern-Aires. (There are others who sing with the group from time to time, including Elzie and Rhonda Moore of the Master Sounds.) This group has been a favorite in and around the Miami Valley for a very long time, so they don't need a lot of introduction from me. Their harmony and style are guaranteed to please you. Marilyn has a great talent as a song writer, as well. They are dear friends and precious saints. Let them come and bless you.

Chip died recently of heart failure, while standing behind the pulpit, doing what he loved best in all of life, singing. We have lost a great musical talent and a wonderful friend.
